Mouse blood pressure

The mouse is often the preferred in vivo model in many life science studies. With the Samba fiber-optic pressure measurement system the user is able to monitor invasive blood pressures with extremely high resolution and accuracy.

Arterial and venous blood pressure can be monitored in real time as well as left and right ventricular pressure, and right atrial pressure. Simultaneous monitoring of both the left and right ventricular pressure of the heart in the same mouse is also possible with the use of two Samba Preclin catheters.
