Right atrial blood pressure
The Samba system offers the opportunity to monitor the blood pressure in the right atrium of the heart of small animals, such as small rodents.
Due to the state-of-the-art properties of the Samba system fine details of the pressure patterns in the right atrium can be observed even in rapidly beating hearts, like in infant mice. To reach the right atrium of the heart the Samba Preclin pressure transducer is inserted into jugular vein and moved further on into the heart.
