Right ventricular blood pressure

The Samba Preclin catheter can measure pressure in the left ventricle of the heart in small animal models such as mouse, rat and other rodents.

The insertion of the Samba Preclin catheters into the right ventricle is made via the jugular vein. The excellent dynamic properties of the Samba system allow researchers to also study minute variations in the pressure patterns also in models with fast beating hearts, like mouse models and other rodent models.
