Urology

Samba Uro catheters are currently being used by urology researchers during urodynamic investigations, i.e. measuring bladder and urinary tract pressure for diagnostic purposes.

Accurate monitoring of bladder pressure and pressure in the lower urinary tracts are especially important in the care of paraplegic patients. The small size and pliability of the Samba catheter make it easy to insert even into relatively narrow urethras, which is particularly important in pediatric care and when studying natural fill processes.

The Samba transducer Samba Uro 420 is certified CE class IIa for this application (permission to use on human patients within EU only). For more technical information about our products for urological monitoring, please see
